Delete your Pouch Tax account

You can delete your Pouch Tax account and all the data associated with it. You do not need to reinstall the app to make this request.

Option 1 — delete it yourself in the app

This is immediate and requires no waiting on us.

Open Pouch Tax and go to Settings.
Scroll to Delete account.
Confirm when prompted. You may be asked to sign in again first.

Option 2 — ask us to delete it

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, email chris@neonfrenchie.com with the subject Pouch Tax account deletion request, from the email address associated with your account.

How we verify you. We confirm the request comes from the email address on the account. If you signed in with Apple using the private relay service, send your request from that relay address so we can match it. We may ask one additional question to confirm ownership. We do this so nobody else can delete your account.

How long it takes. We aim to complete verified requests within 7 days, and no later than 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deletion removes all of the following, permanently:

Your account record — email, display name, photo, and which sign-in providers you used
Your quit profile — quit date, pouches per day, costs, brand, nicotine strength, motivation
Your settings and notification preferences
Every craving, slip, reward and milestone record
Registered device push tokens
Your authentication identity with Apple, Google, or email
Local data stored on your device

This cannot be undone. There is no recovery period and no archived copy to restore from. If you want to keep your history, export it first from Settings — Pouch Tax can export your data as JSON or CSV.

What may be retained

We retain nothing about you after deletion for product purposes. Residual copies may persist briefly in routine encrypted backups and server logs before being overwritten in the ordinary course. Where a law requires us to keep a limited record — for example a record of the deletion request itself — we keep only what that law requires, and nothing more.
